The ombudswoman Lyudmila Denisova reported about it.

She also stressed that today, Abdurakhmanov is not allowed to be examined and receive the necessary treatment.

"Appeals to the medical unit of the pre-trial detention centre are ignored," the ombudsman added

Denisova noted that such treatment of a citizen of Ukraine violates paragraph 22 of the minimum standard rules for the treatment of prisoners, approved by the UN Economic and Social Councils, and "is considered torture or inhuman or degrading treatment".
