Regular military exercises in the occupied Crimea: tankers of the coastal defence of the occupying Black Sea Fleet fire a regular projectile

On 5 of August, the military shooting exercises are being held at one of the training grounds of the occupied Crimea. Brigades of the tank unit from the army corps of the occupying Black Sea Fleet (BSF) of the Russian Federation on T-72B3 tanks practice firing at moving targets.

About that, announced by occupation Department of Information Support of the Black Sea Region of Sevastopol.

It is noted, that tankers during training and combat missions conduct firing to hit targets with the use of high-explosive and armour-piercing ammunition, both from the ground and in motion, to work out an instant reaction when firing.

According to the occupation agency, the military forces are completing training tasks on firing at moving targets that mimic tanks, low-flying helicopters and conventional artillery positions at distances from 900 to 2,200 meters.

According to the occupation press service of the Black Sea region of the city of Sevastopol, half of the training time allotted for classes is spent by personnel in the dark with the use of night vision devices.

The military also complies with the standards for loading ammunition, transferring the tank from the stowed position to the combat position, reconnaissance and detection of targets, assembly and disassembly of the regular machine gun.

What is knows

  • On 4 of the August, at the Opuk military range in the occupied Crimea, units of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops (RHBZ) of the Army Corps of the Occupying Black Sea Fleet are conducting special exercises as part of a military field campaign.
  • On 1st of the August, a frigate of the occupying Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy, Admiral Essen, carried out shooting training near the shores of the occupied Crimea. The shooting was practised on invisible coastal targets.
  • On 30 of the August, in occupied Sevastopol, the occupying FSS detained a Russian Black Sea Fleet serviceman, who allegedly worked for Ukrainian military intelligence. The "court" has already arrested him.
  • On 19 of the July, the occupying forces blocked the movement of ships by the Kerch Protocol for the use of boats due to a sudden check of the readiness of the troops, that is "available in all state facilities in the North and North Caucasus federal districts".
