The Representation of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea will provide remote individual support for Crimean entrants to higher education institutions in 2020 to help applicants solve problems with crossing the checkpoint, or with additional questions regarding admission to higher education.

About that announced, by Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on Facebook.

"If an entrant and/or an accompanying person applying for admission to Ukrainian universities from the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, had problems crossing the checkpoint, or had additional questions about admission to the school (list of required documents, unclear requirements of the selection committee or other questions) - you can always contact us for an individual consultation", - announced in a report.

The individual consultation gives in four versions:

What is knows

  • On 30 of the June, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine opened hotlines for entrants, where you can get answers to all questions regarding the registration of e-offices, submission of applications, external evaluation certificates, benefits for admission, etc.
  • Volodymyr Zelenskyi on amendments to the Law "On Higher Education" (on the peculiarities of admission to higher education institutions of persons from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine) was registered in the Verkhovna Rada.
  • Earlier, the head of state-initiated amendments to the law "On Higher Education", which simplify the entry of Ukrainian graduates to schools from the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donetsk, Luhansk regions.
  • The press service of the President's Office said that the changes will provide that children from these territories will be able to enter Ukrainian universities without external independent evaluation (EIE) and have the opportunity to enter all universities in Ukraine, rather than on a limited list, as they do now. free of charge within the quotas set by the Ministry of Education (20% of the state order for each university).
  • In addition, all comers from the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions will study in Ukrainian free economic zones free of charge, through a state order within quotas. Currently, this rule applies only to graduates from the Crimea and Sevastopol.
  •  On 9 of the June, in the Kherson`s universities the started work education centres "Crimea - is Ukraine". There are four of them in Kherson: in the state, national-technical, agrarian-economic universities and in the State Maritime Academy.
