Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, charges were filed against a judge of the occupying Black Sea District Court of Crimea, who fined a Crimean activist for participating in the events of May 3, 2014.

This was reported by the press service of the department.

The investigation established that in 2014 the malefactor sided with the occupiers, serving in the illegally created "Black Sea District Court of the Republic of Crimea".

"The accused illegally brought a Ukrainian citizen to administrative responsibility by imposing a fine. The woman was brought to justice for the events of May 3, 2014, when the former head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev was illegally banned from entering the peninsula by the occupation authorities. Then, in protest and protesting against the occupation, the Crimean people blocked the road on several sections of the Simferopol-Sevastopol, Kherson-Dzhankoi-Feodosia-Kerch, Simferopol-Feodosia-Kerch and other highways”, - was informed in the statement.

The woman is accused of treason under Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol has completed the investigation of the case and sent the case materials to court.
