Russia has announced the withdrawal of troops from the occupied Crimea
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that the military equipment of the Southern Military District had left the occupied Crimea after the "exercises".
This was reported by RIA Novosti.
It is noted that military equipment is returning to the places of permanent deployment by the bridge across the Kerch Strait.
"An echelon of military equipment from units of the Southern Military District crossed the Crimean bridge on the way to the PPD (permanent deployment points - ed.) After the completion of planned exercises," the statement said.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also claims that armored vehicles, namely tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and self-propelled artillery units, were immersed in special railway platforms.
