The State Duma of the Russian Federation approved the address on recognition of independence of so-called "L / DNR"
Deputies of the State Duma of Russia supported the appeal to Vladimir Putin to recognize the so-called "LPR" and "DPR".
The decision was made during a plenary session of parliament, was reported by TASS.
The decision was supported by 351 deputies. 16 deputies spoke against. Only one abstained. It is noted that the State Duma will immediately sign the document and send an appeal to Putin.
Deputies consider the recognition of the self-proclaimed "L / DNR" "justified and morally justified". In addition, the text of the appeal called the occupying power "republics" "legitimate."
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba told what will happen if Russia recognizes "L / DNR". According to him, this will mean withdrawing from the Minsk agreements.
"I would like to remind you once again of Ukraine's unchanging position: in the event of a decision to recognize the L / DNR, Russia will de facto and de jure withdraw from the Minsk agreements", - he said.
