The Speaker of the Estonian Parliament Jüri Ratas, MPs, and the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anton Korynevych visited the Chongar checkpoint on the administrative border with the occupied Crimea.

People's Deputy Dmytro Lubinets announced it on Facebook.

According to him, Jüri Rotas is currently on an official visit to Ukraine. He had met with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal.

"And today, he visited the checkpoint of occupied Crimea", - Lubinets added.

According to the People's Deputy, this is an important political step and great diplomatic support.

"Thus, Estonia demonstrates comprehensive assistance and commitment to Ukraine. Moreover, they are not just acknowledging Russia's aggression, but are doing everything possible to get Ukraine to return its territories as soon as possible", - he wrote.

He also thanked Rotas for his visit and support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

What is known
