An indictment was filed against the occupying head of the Rozdolne District Court of Crimea under the procedural guidance of the Autonomy Prosecutor's Office. The actions of the accused are qualified as treason under Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. She faces up to 15 years in prison.

The Prosecutor's Office of the ARC reported it.

Thus, the accused had been a judge of the Rozdolne District Court of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea since September 2001. After the occupation in 2014, she betrayed her oath of allegiance to Ukraine and took the position of the "chairperson of the Rozdolne District Court'' of Crimea.

The "judge" assisted the representatives of the occupying state in the transition of the judicial system of Ukraine operating in Crimea to the administration of justice under Russian law and assisted the "authorities" in suppressing resistance to the occupation of the peninsula by the Crimean people.

She made many illegal decisions in administrative and criminal cases.

"Thus, the accused contributed to the establishment and strengthening of the occupation judiciary on the peninsula, and assisted representatives of a foreign state in carrying out subversive activities against Ukraine", - the office's press service wrote.

According to open sources, after the occupation of Crimea, Tatiana Pyrkalo was appointed as the "chairperson of the Razdolne district court." She tried Volodymyr Balukh, a former Kremlin political prisoner and Ukrainian activist in Crimea, during the criminal prosecution.
