This Saturday, February 12, at 7:40 p.m., the live weekly talk show “Crimean Issue” will be broadcast live on UA: CRIMEA and on all regional TV channels of Suspilne.

“The issue of Crimea should not disappear from the radars of the media because it is a matter of restoring justice and guarantees of international security. Thousands of people who disagree with the situation live in Crimea, and thousands of Crimean people remain on the mainland of Ukraine, who have not been able to get home for a long time. The purpose of this project is to remind about them and that the Crimean issue is still relevant“, - said Maria Frey, general producer of regional broadcasting of the Suspilne Broadcaster.

The UA: CRIMEA Public Broadcaster team is launching a television talk show that will become a platform for discussing topics related to the peninsula. It will demonstrate the connection of Ukrainian today with Crimea and help find ways to restore the integrity of Ukraine.

The primary task of the project is to return Crimea to the Ukrainian information context and to draw attention to the socio-political life of Crimea under occupation.

The talk show unites all the regions around a common problem and looks for ways to solve it together. The live show will raise various acute social and political topics.

The topics of discussion will reflect the most important problems relating to the life of the inhabitants of Crimea, IDPs, will show the actual state and prospects for the de-occupation of the peninsula, and how all this affects today’s Ukraine.

The project will become a platform where experts, politicians, journalists, public figures, scientists, and representatives of indigenous peoples, together with talk show hosts Imran Useinov and Olesya Vakulenko, will discuss topics related to Crimea, national and local issues that affect the state of affairs in different regions of Ukraine.

During the discussions, the invited experts will suggest steps and mechanisms of solving local problems and will look for tools to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine and its further development.

"The de-occupation of Crimea is a long-term goal, but it is real. And to get closer to achieving this goal, we need to work at several levels: national, international, at the level of civil society, and the expert community. That's why we created this TV talk show, which will discuss the Crimean topic and painful problems of the peninsula through the national prism, where you can see different points of view", - says the manager of the project of information broadcasting UA: CRIMEA, Muslim Umerov.
