In Ukraine, complex tactical and special exercises to repel a hypothetical enemy are underway at several combat training grounds; the enemy is trying to break through the defences in tank-hazardous and airborne-hazardous areas.

The press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported it to Suspilne Crimea.

The training involves engineering units that install minefields, tank units and anti-tank artillery.

"Each time, during training, we must achieve the maximum reduction of time from the receipt of the order of the unit commander to its practical implementation by a specific number of gun service or tank crew", - the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev said.

According to the commander, the anti-tank reserve quickly and in an organised manner carried out the movement to the deployment line, and the engineer-sapper group carried out the setting of minefields without delay.

The tankers advanced the company to the waiting area. They moved and deployed in combat order on the firing line to repel the attack of a hypothetical enemy. After that, they left and relocated to areas of concentration.

"After receiving a combat order, the tankers quickly marched to the waiting area, reaching the firing line. During reconnaissance, tank crews identified the main forces of the hypothetical enemy and forced them to reveal themselves, and after that, the tankers entered the battle", - the lieutenant general said.

According to the commander, the experience of the Anti-Terrorist Operation and the Joint Forces Operation has shown that tanks are one of the foundations of the offensive operation. That is why anti-tank and all-military reserves must always be ready for enemy fire.

"Maintaining the professional skills of servicemen will continue", - Nayev said.
