In the occupied Crimea, the process of transferring the Tavrida highway to Russian ownership has been completed.
This was reported by the Russian Road Administration "Taman".
"Since February 2022, the road A-291 Kerch - Simferopol - Sevastopol over 250 km long is under the operational management of the subordinate Rosavtodor PKU Uprdor" Taman ", - was informed in a statement.
It is noted that in winter the road is serviced by 97 units of special equipment equipped with GLONASS and Dortransnavigation systems.

- Earlier, the Tavrida highway in Crimea was planned to be transferred to Russian ownership in 2021. Former occupying Minister of Transport of Crimea Serhiy Karpov noted that "the road is considered republican, as it was built with co-financing from the Crimean budget and within the Federal Target Program, the land is republican."
