Former Prosecutor Natalia Poklonskaya, who was appointed Deputy President of the Russian Federation by the President of the Russian Federation the day before, announced her intention to "protect the rights of compatriots in Ukraine."

For me this is not a new field of activity, because I have always been involved in human rights, peace and security. "The Russian-Ukrainian experience will be useful here. We are getting closer and closer to Ukraine", - Poklonskaya said.

She also added that she will start performing her official duties next week.

It is noted that the ex-prosecutor, including within her powers, "plans to hold meetings with compatriots abroad".
