Turkish President Erdogan has arrived in Kyiv

President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Kyiv. He will meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the Mariinsky Palace.

"We are in Kyiv at the invitation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to participate in the 10th meeting of the High-Level Strategic Council. I hope that the meetings will lead to favorable results for both countries and the region", - Erdogan wrote on Twitter on Thursday.

He noted that in recent years, Turkey has made significant progress in relations with Ukraine in the fields of trade, investment, tourism and defense industry.

It is known that today the parties will sign an agreement on a Free Trade Area.

The meeting of the two presidents with the media is scheduled for 15.25.
