Thus, according to the explanatory note to the adopted document, the main tasks of the TSC, in particular, are to verify information on facts and persons who contributed to the temporary occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, to verify the investigation of Ukrainian law enforcement facts occupation of the ARC. In addition, the commission's activities include establishing, collecting information and obtaining explanations from individuals and / or enterprises, institutions, organizations, central and local executive bodies, as well as local governments and their officials involved in activities related to with questions about the temporary occupation of Crimea.

Thus, based on the verification of the above data, the TSC should initiate the issue of bringing the perpetrators to justice under the laws of Ukraine.

Deputy Igor Kopytin (parliamentary faction "Servant of the People") was elected chairman of the commission, and Hryhoriy Nemyria (parliamentary faction "All-Ukrainian Association" Batkivshchyna ") was elected his deputy.

Quantitative composition of TSC - 10 people. The term of office of the relevant temporary commission of inquiry of the parliament is one year from the date of its formation.
