The People's Deputy of Ukraine Rustem Umerov stressed the importance of returning Ukrainian political prisoners to their families.

"On the T-shirts you were given today are the names of Ukrainian political prisoners who were illegally imprisoned in the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to each surname of the political prisoner, there are their families: wives, mothers and children, whom they have been waiting for for years", - Umerov said.

He also recalled one of the first letters after the arrest of Nariman Dzhelyalov, where the activist wrote that he had no illusions about Russia and their regime, but there was confidence and faith that Ukraine was making every effort to bring him back and our people home.

"When you are imprisoned by the enemy, without access to operative news and under constant pressure from the occupiers, every news of a support action from Kyiv or another city is an important signal that you are fighting for your release, you have not been forgotten and by all legal and diplomatic means. trying to get home. There should be more signals such as today's action of support", - Rustem Umerov summed up.
