Zelensky signed a decree to strengthen the country's defense capabilities. What does he foresee?

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree aimed at strengthening the country's defense capabilities and improving the prestige of military service.
He заявив this during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada.
According to the President, this decree provides for the following:
- increase payments to servicemen to at least three minimum salaries;
- Ukraine's transition to the principles of a professional army;
- development of the concept of housing for servicemen, veterans and members of their families;
- increasing the term of contracts;
- career advancement system for officers;
- increase in the number of the Armed Forces for three years by 100 thousand professional employees;
- creation of additional 20 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"This decree is the start of Ukraine's transition to a professional army, this decree is not because war is coming soon, this decree is for peace and peace in Ukraine soon and in the future", - Zelensky said.
