Traffic on the road Bakhchisaray - Yalta near Mount Ay-Petri has been closed for all modes of transport until March 1 due to the threat of avalanches.
The occupation Road Service of Crimea reports.
From January 28 to March 1, the movement of all vehicles on the Bakhchisaray-Yalta highway in the Ay-Petri area was temporarily suspended.
"Traffic was stopped to ensure road safety due to the danger of avalanches, accumulation of wet snow, and ice. Appropriate road signs and other technical means of traffic organization will be installed in this area", - the statement said.
The "order" to close the road came from the occupying Ministry of Transport of Crimea.
