At the first preparatory courses organized by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, they trained 200 entrants from occupied Crimea and ORDLO to enter Ukrainian universities.

Deputy Head of the Ministry of the Temporarily Occupied Territories for Digital Development Snaver Seitkhalil announced it at the Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Ukrinform reports.

"Of course, there were restrictions from the occupation administrations, as a result of which we did not have the declared number of students. But even those 200 people who were trained in our preparatory courses gave a tremendous experience", - Seitkhalil said.

According to him, the results and problematic issues of the first preparatory courses have been analyzed, and this year they plan to introduce changes to the training format.

"Attention will be paid to the cultural and educational program so that graduates can, for example, use the Ukrainian language while studying", - the deputy minister explained.

In addition, the Ministry of Reintegration has big plans in the digital track, in particular, to start online learning in 2022.

It is also planned to submit documents online for preparatory courses and pass exams in the proctoring system - a procedure for monitoring and controlling the exam.

UniTour project manager Muslim Umerov noted that the project, initiated by the public organization Q-hub, is a 13-episode travel show for future students from the occupied territories. The travel show tells about the life and study of students from 13 universities in five cities of Ukraine.

"That is why we decided to choose a project where a peer of the applicants, who is an applicant from Crimea, conveys his thoughts and impressions about studying in Ukrainian universities to those who live in Crimea", - Umerov said.

According to him, the project will help combat the information barrier faced by school graduates in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

The project will tell about simplified forms of admission to Ukrainian educational institutions, the professions that can be mastered there, as well as the possibility of transferring from the universities of Crimea to universities in mainland Ukraine.
