At the Chongar entry checkpoint on the administrative border with occupied Crimea, Ukrainian border guards found fake certificates with a negative COVID-19 result during the inspection of documents of two Ukrainian citizens.

The spokesperson of the Kherson State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Ivan Shevtsov, told this to Suspilne Crimea.

"These certificates were not issued by medical institutions. We have special tablets that have the software to scan the codes and determine whether the PCR test is valid or not. The actions of citizens violate Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. We informed the representatives of the National Police and then handed them over to the police”, - he said.
