The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs threatens Russia with sanctions against Nord Stream-2

German Minister of Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock has threatened tough sanctions, including on Nord Stream 2, in response to further Russian aggression against Ukraine.
She stated this on Thursday during a debate on the situation around Ukraine in the Bundestag, FAZ reports.
"In the event of new aggression, we have a wide range of answers, including on Nord Stream 2 ... Yes, we want a permanent dialogue. Those who speak do not shoot", - Baerbock said.
As the German minister noted, it is also a matter of firmness, which "unmistakably makes it clear that the cornerstones of the European world order are out of the question".

- U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price said Russia's Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline would not work if Russia invaded Ukraine.
