In particular, combat calculations of BM-21 "Hail" multiple rocket launchers performed tasks related to the suppression and destruction of firepower, armored vehicles and manpower of the conventional enemy.

"Similar trainings in the group of troops, which is subordinated to our command, take place regularly. That is why servicemen always demonstrate a high level of training and coherence, responding in a timely manner to all possible threats, "said the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev.

Senior gunner Bogdan works with Hertz Panorama (artillery panorama type, sighting and protractor optical device of ground artillery and multiple rocket launchers). It is the most important detail in the artillery, because without it it is impossible to trace the coordinates of the enemy.

“A panorama of Hertz is needed to find the main point of reference. We work with a scale of rough and fine reference. We find any point of reference: a section of the house, a pillar… Then we pass the coordinates to our commander of the combat vehicle, who calculates everything down to the details. The training itself takes two months. Everything is easy to work out and is constantly repeated", - Bohdan said.

Military Michael helps the senior gunner to aim at aiming devices to aim accurately.

"Shooting is quite common. For training between the brigades, we go to the tactical fields, occupy combat positions, prepare vehicles for combat position. Officers give us the exact coordinates of the guidance, we guide and work out the goal. There were single shots, sometimes the whole package. If you shoot from the cab, you feel a strong jolt of the car and the sound of hail. When you shoot from the cab, you can smell the gunpowder in the car very well”, - Mykhailo said.

During the exercise, the troops used information provided by artillery reconnaissance, which studied the area and revealed targets for the destruction, as well as instructions received from the operators of unmanned reconnaissance aircraft.

Senior gunner Bogdan shared his impressions of the training.

"I was very happy when I first shot. I really enjoy working as a gunner. Always new tasks, new goals, various standards… The main thing is to be able to defend yourself and try to impress the enemy's fire support more”, - Bohdan added.

The commander stressed that each time commanders add new elements and introductory elements to the training in order to work out various aspects of countering the enemy. Commanders complicate the task by teaching personnel to act in the event of a sudden change in the situation.

It should be noted that the tactical exercises of the jet battery were aimed at coordinating artillery units, improving field training of personnel and improving the practical skills of commanders in managing units.

 "The result speaks for itself. The military has already reached a high level of coherence in the implementation of the tasks", - Lieutenant General Sergei Nayev said.
