Any crossing of the Russian border with Ukraine by the US military will be regarded as a military invasion - Psaki
The White House will consider Russia's "invasion" of Ukraine any crossing of the Ukrainian border by Russian troops.
The statement was published by White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki.
"President Biden has made it clear to the Russian president that if any Russian military crosses the Ukrainian border, it will be a new invasion, and a quick, tough and united response will be given by the United States and its allies", - was informed in the statement.

The spokeswoman also noted that Moscow has "extensive experience in strategy of aggression, in addition to military action". She gave examples of "cyberattacks and tactics of using irregular armed groups".
According to Psaki, Biden confirmed that "a decisive, mirror and unified answer will be given to such actions".
What is known
- Russia has begun transferring military helicopters to the border with Ukraine. The move may indicate that planning for the attack is still ongoing, as the number of Russian troops at the border has remained stable in recent weeks.
