Russian troops arrive in Belarus on the eve of joint exercises
Russia plans to hold joint military exercises with Belarus and on its territory - preparations for them will begin immediately after the end of the exercise "Union Determination - 2022", which will take place in early February.
This was stated by Russian Ambassador to Minsk Boris Gryzlov in an interview with TASS.
"The exercises will start in February and will be called" Union Determination - 2022 "..." Union Determination - 2022 "will end, and preparations for the new exercises" Union Shield - 2023 "will begin. And these exercises will be held in Russia".
He does not rule out that this could be a reason for accusing Russia of aggressive plans, because when the news of any military exercises in Russia or Belarus, the West always begins to declare various threats.
At the same time, Gryzlov states that the Russian and Belarusian military, after conducting "excellent training", always "returned to their places of permanent deployment".
