The British Foreign Office calls on Russia to stop the aggression and withdraw troops from Ukraine

Minister for Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom Liz Truss stated that Russia is waging a disinformation campaign to justify its possible invasion of Ukraine. Moscow must immediately withdraw troops from Ukraine's borders and begin de-escalating the situation.
She wrote about this on Twitter.
"Russia is waging a disinformation campaign intended to destabilise and justify an invasion of its sovereign neighbour Ukraine. Russia must halt its aggression, deescalate and engage in meaningful talks", - she tweeted.
What is known
- The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence (GUR MOU) claims that Russian special services are preparing provocations against Russia’s military forces to accuse Ukraine of this.
- US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that Russia is again preparing a special false-flag operation in Donbas to create a pretext for invasion. According to him, Russia used a similar scenario in 2014.
- The 22nd Army Corps of the Southern Military District, stationed in occupied Crimea, will be replenished with a missile division. Also, in 2022, the air defence forces will receive about 3,000 units of equipment and weapons.
