On Saturday, January 15, about 3,200 homes were left without electricity in occupied Crimea due to the hurricane wind.

Krymenergo reported it on Facebook.

"Seven power transmission lines have been disabled in Belogorsk, Kirov, Pervomaisky districts and Sudak city district. About 3,200 subscribers are left without electricity", - the statement said.

According to the occupation meteorological centre, a storm warning of a hurricane wind of up to 30-35 m/s was issued in Crimea on January 15. On the night of 14/15 January, power engineers eliminated the effects of the storm in the mountainous regions of Crimea, Bakhchisaray, Pervomaisky, Kirov, Sudak and Belogorsk districts.

Currently, Krymenergo is on high alert.

In addition, eleven appeals were received in Sevastopol last night, TASS reports. A team of power engineers worked in the area of Bergman's beam, where the wire broke and six district-heating substations were partially disconnected.
