The water found during drilling operations in the Azov Sea is non-potable and can be used as drinking water only after the necessary water treatment.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, the "curator" of occupied Crimea, Marat Khusnullin, announced this at a presentation posted on his Instagram page.

"Low-mineralized water has been found, which is conditionally drinkable(suitable for use for technical purposes: irrigation, heating, and cooling systems). If the necessary water treatment is available, the water can be used as drinking water", - the document reads.

According to the text, the search for drinking water in the Sea of Azov continues.
