The occupiers conducted training with the regular forces of naval aviation and air defence of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation
On January 9, Russian military personnel conducted exercises with the regular forces of naval aviation and air defence of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in occupied Crimea. During the exercises, the occupiers worked on the issues of detecting and tracking aircraft, including at low altitudes.
The press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported this.
“For the inspection and readiness of the next air defence forces of the Crimean Peninsula with crews of naval aviation and air defence of the Black Sea Fleet, as well as divisions of anti-aircraft missile systems S-400, crews of missile and artillery systems Pantsir-C conducted training in areas of responsibility”, - the message of the Russian Defense Ministry read.

The regular combat crews of anti-aircraft missile and radio-technical units of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Southern Military District of Russia are involved, as well as combat crews of the division of the S-400 “Triumph” and “Armor-C” complexes. The Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft, Su-27, and Su-30SM fighters also took part.
