In the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, the occupiers recorded 135 new cases of COVID-19

As of January 9, 68 new COVID-19 cases were "officially" registered in the occupied Crimea, 67 in Sevastopol. At the same time, 12 people died on the peninsula, and 5 in Sevastopol.

According to the occupation Ministry of Health of Crimea, 12 people died of coronavirus on the occupied peninsula in the past 24 hours, and 56 recovered.

According to the occupation government of Sevastopol, as of the morning of January 9, 67 people fell ill with COVID-19.

The 30 people were discharged after recovery. 5 people aged from 49 to 91 died.

As of the morning of January 9, 2,810 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the territory controlled by Ukraine. 75 people died in one day, 2,818 recovered.

What is known

  • A total of 127,615 COVID-19 cases have been officially registered in the occupied Crimea for the current period. 118,993 people recovered during the whole period, 4,508 died.
  • A total of 53,228 people became ill with coronavirus in occupied Sevastopol. Recovered for the entire period - 50,447, died - 1,868.
  • A total of 3,702,473 cases of coronavirus were registered on the mainland of Ukraine. He recovered for the whole period - 3,511,269, died - 97,239.
