In the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, the occupiers recorded 144 new cases of COVID-19

As of January 8, 81 new cases of COVID-19 were "officially" registered in the occupied Crimea, 63 in Sevastopol. At the same time, 9 people died on the peninsula, and 4 in Sevastopol.

According to the occupation Ministry of Health of Crimea, 9 people died of coronavirus and 59 recovered on the occupied peninsula in the past 24 hours.

According to the occupation government of Sevastopol, as of the morning of January 8, 63 people fell ill with COVID-19.

The 72 people were discharged after recovery. Four people aged 62 to 91 died.

As of the morning of January 8, 3,195 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the territory controlled by Ukraine. 76 people died in one day, 1,942 recovered.

What is known

  • A total of 127,547 COVID-19 cases have been officially registered in the occupied Crimea for the current period. 118,937 people recovered during the whole period, 4,496 died.
  • A total of 53,161 people became ill with coronavirus in occupied Sevastopol. Recovered for the entire period - 50,417, died - 1,860.
  • A total of 3,699,633 cases of coronavirus were registered on the mainland of Ukraine. He recovered for the whole period - 3,508,451, died - 97,164.
