In 2021, the Crimean Prosecutor's Office investigated more than two hundred criminal cases

The Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol last year completed a pre-trial investigation into 214 criminal cases.

This was reported by the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol on Facebook.

"In 2021, the pre-trial investigation was completed in 214 (62.2% more than in 2020) criminal proceedings, 56 (40% more) indictments were sent to court, including 39 acts in the special pre-trial investigation", - was informed in the message.

It is noted that in total procedural guidance is provided in 1152 proceedings. Last year, the autonomous law enforcement agencies investigated 10% more criminal proceedings than in 2020.

In addition, according to the prosecutor's office, since May 2021, the mechanism of a special pre-trial investigation into persons hiding in the occupied territories has been unblocked.
