The EU and NATO must be more active in preparing for various scenarios of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

This was stated by Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics, was published by Delfi.

Yes, he expressed the opinion that this could be a full-scale war or local operations, and stressed that he planned to draw attention to the need for more active preparation for the threat, in particular, possible further hybrid actions of Russia against Ukraine.

"We are currently discussing very tough scenarios - a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, full-scale economic sanctions. But we must keep in mind that other scenarios are possible - smaller operations, various elements of a hybrid war, and I think both NATO and the EU should work in this direction", - Rinkevics said.
