The United Nations Security Council has stated that it has prepared for any scenario of events around Ukraine. The UN is closely watching what is happening.

This was stated by the Permanent Representative of Norway to the UN Mona Juul at a briefing on January 4.

"It is too early to say what we will do if the situation develops as you say. But I can assure you that we are ready for any situation that may arise, and we are closely monitoring what is happening", - a representative of the UN head of state said.
