Kurtumer Chalgozov, who was detained by FSB officers on December 14, 2021 in the occupied Crimea, said that they were trying to recruit him, threatening him with a criminal case.

Crimean Solidarity posted a video of Chalgozov's statement on Facebook.

"You have 10 minutes, I think. Or your life will change for the worse - and you will sit down. Or you will work with us - and you will live as you lived, "Chalgozov was quoted as saying by the occupying security forces.

According to Chalgozov, he was taken out of the house in handcuffs and opaque glasses. In the basement, they were forced to take a polygraph test, asking questions about the explosion of a gas pipeline in the village of Perevalnoye. After that, they tied him to a chair with scotch tape and started threatening him with a criminal case. He was released home only in the evening.

Then Kurtumer Chalgozov did not want to talk in detail about the interrogation. But after a statement by Nariman Ametov, who was detained in the Old Crimea under similar circumstances and tortured with electricity, he decided to say what he had to do to avoid pressure from Russian intelligence.
