The Russian Foreign Ministry has stated that the visit of the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to the temporarily occupied Russian Federation of Crimea can be organized "at least now".

This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko, was reported by TASS.

"As for the visit of President Alexander Lukashenko to the peninsula, the Crimean authorities have repeatedly stated their readiness to accept it at least now," said a spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry.

According to Rudenko, Russia is convinced that further strengthening of cooperation between Belarus and Crimea and Sevastopol, including the establishment of direct air and rail connections between them, will be positively received by the citizens of Russia and Belarus.
