How checkpoints, Covid testing points, administrative services centres will operate on holidays on the administrative border with occupied Crimea
During the New Year and Christmas holidays, Chongar and Kalanchak checkpoints will operate in normal mode. Covid testing points and administrative services centres will operate on a special schedule.
It was discussed at a press conference organized by IRC Genichesk.
According to the head of the press service of the Kherson border detachment, Ivan Shevtsov, the New Year and Christmas holidays will not affect the work of the checkpoints, therefore the entry-exit points will operate in normal mode.
According to Iryna Verigina, a representative of the Ukrainian Parliament's Commissioner for Respect for the Rights of Residents of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, testing and vaccination points will not be open on January 1, 2 and 7. During the holidays, residents of the occupied peninsula can get tested in hospitals in the town of Henichesk and the village of Kalanchak.
The Kalanchak and Chongar checkpoints will not be open on January 1, 2, 3 and 7. And on January 6 they will work part-time. According to the same schedule employees of the State Migration Service will work.
