In 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated UAH 113.6 million of subventions of the state budget to local budgets for the implementation of measures to support the territories affected by the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine.

The program provides co-financing of 30% from the local budget and 70% from the state budget for construction, reconstruction, and the overhaul of housing for temporary use of internally displaced persons.

As a result, temporary housing for IDPs will be replenished with 342 properties, which will create the preconditions for housing more than 1,000 IDPs. The funds were directed to 94 communities from 23 regions of Ukraine.

Based on the results of processing 140 proposals from local councils, and in their absence from the relevant military-civil administrations, the Government approved 104. The procedure and conditions for granting the subvention were approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 4, 2017, № 769.

The largest number of real estate objects will be allocated by the communities of the Kherson region, as well as the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions controlled by the Government.

In the Donetsk region, 13 communities took part in the distribution.

In the Donetsk region, thirteen communities took part in the distribution. Twenty-seven real estate objects will be transferred to the funds of temporary housing for IDPs in the Slovyansk City Territorial Community, and another fifteen will be allocated by the Pokrovsky City Territorial Community.

Among eight communities of the Luhansk region, twenty real estate objects will be transferred by the Severodonetsk city territorial community, another nineteen - by the Gyrske city territorial community.

In the Kherson region, seventeen real estate objects of the Kherson city territorial community will be transferred to the funds of temporary housing for IDPs.
