Nikolai Zhigulin and Olena Bogomolova have resigned from the occupation government of Sevastopol. Officials from Russia will be appointed in their place.

The “governor” of the city, Mikhail Razvozhayev, reported about it.

“Deputy Governor Nikolai Aleksandrovich Zhigulin is leaving the government", - Razvozhayev said.

It is also noted that Sergei Tolmachev has been appointed acting “deputy governor”. He is responsible for overseeing the internal policy unit, the information policy management, and the natural resources department.

Zhigulin came to Sevastopol from Norilsk. The new “vice-governor” is from Krasnoyarsk.

The changes will also affect the city’s “education department”. Olena Bogomolova, who has been head of the department since 2015, is currently in the process of being fired. Before the occupation, she was head of the education department of the Leninsky District City Administration.

“After the new year, the Department of Education will be headed by Sulima Larisa Olegovna”, - the official said.

Before her appointment to Sevastopol, Larisa Sulima held the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
