“We are outraged by such actions of law enforcement authorities. We demand an end to the persecution of our compatriots, an end to harassment and torture”, - Elder Refat Yakubov said.

According to activists, on December 25, elders from Sudak, Bakhchisaray, Belogorsk, Topolivka, Kurske, Hrushivka, Shchaslyve, Radyansky, and other Crimean settlements issued a petition condemning the use of torture against Nariman Ametov. The elders are outraged by the lawlessness and demand an end to torture and repression.
