The Commander of the Ukrainian Navy Oleksiy Neizhpapa stated that Russia had increased the number of Black Sea Fleet ships after the occupation of Crimea. In particular, the number of ships has tripled.

This was reported by Radio Svoboda.

"The eastern neighbor has almost tripled its size over the past six years. All ships arriving since the beginning of 2015 have sailed for the Black Sea Fleet. These include six submarines, frigates, missile boats, support vessels, patrols and others", - he declared.

Neizhpapa also added that the Black Sea Fleet was replenished with Bal and Bastion coastal missile systems.

"Crimea itself is now an 'unsinkable aircraft carrier".
