Residents of the city and Crimean Tatars from other parts of Crimea gathered near Nariman Ametov's house in the Old Crimea to express their support and solidarity in protest of the torture he endured at the hands of the occupying special services.

"There are at least 250 people here and people continue to come," Crimean Solidarity correspondent Zidan Adzhikelyamov said.
