The United States does not recommend its citizens to travel to Ukraine because of the COVID-19 situation and "growing threats from Russia". The US State Department also updated its warning about the dangers of traveling to the occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the US Embassy in Ukraine.

"US citizens need to be aware of reports that Russia is planning significant military action against Ukraine. "US citizens should also remember that security conditions, especially along Ukraine's borders, in the Russian-occupied Crimea and in the Russian-controlled eastern part of Ukraine, are unpredictable and could deteriorate without warning," the statement said.
