The Crimean Tatar Resource Center calls on the authorities to apply a mechanism of sanctions against perpetrators who illegally visited the occupied Crimea.

This was reported on the website of the CRC.

"Crimean Tatar Resource Center has prepared letters to the President of Ukraine, the Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine calling for sanctions against more than two hundred citizens of the Russian Federation and some other states other public activities on the territory of the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, or visited the peninsula in private cases in violation of Ukrainian law, "the statement said.

Among the artists on whom the CRC is asking for sanctions are Basta (Vasyl Vakulenko), Iryna Krug (Iryna Vorobyova), and Mykhailo Shufutynsky, who has visited the occupied Crimea several times.

The statement notes that Basti's concert took place on December 19 at the Stereo Plaza nightclub in the capital. And Shufutynsky's concert is scheduled for March 8, 2022 in the Kiev Palace of Sports.
