One of the co-authors of the draft resolution, which proposes to impose personal sanctions on those involved in violating the rights and freedoms of Nariman Dzhelyalov, MP, Deputy Speaker of the Crimean Tatar People's Assembly Akhtem Chiygoz believes that the resolution should be analogous to the "Magnitsky list" Investigators, prosecutors, tax collectors, judges and pre-trial detention center officials who have been subjected to Western sanctions are recognized by the United States as involved in the death of auditor Serhiy Magnitsky.

This was reported by "Crimea Realii".

In November, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a draft resolution proposing to apply personal sanctions to those involved in the violation of Nariman Dzhelyalov's rights and freedoms. On December 15, he and his brothers Asan and Aziz Akhtemov were finally charged with involvement in sabotage, blowing up a gas pipeline near the village of Perevalne, smuggling an explosive device, causing damage of 105,000 rubles (38.6,000 hryvnias) and undermining Russia's defense capabilities.

It is proposed to apply restrictive measures to four occupiers: Leonid Mykhailyuk, head of the Crimean FSS, Vitaliy Vlasov, senior investigator of the Crimean FSS, Volodymyr Agin, judge of the Crimean Supreme Court, and Serhiy Zaitsev, prosecutor of the Simferopol district of Crimea.

"This list should include all those involved in crimes against our political prisoners. It will be replenished. We focus on Nariman Dzhelalov because he is a shining example of the fight against the occupiers. In the end, this list will include hundreds of criminals of various ranks who have been complicit in the crimes of the occupiers all these years", - Chiygoz stressed.

He hopes that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will have time to adopt a resolution on these sanctions by the end of the year. He believes that they should be supported not only by the Ukrainian authorities, but also by representatives of the international community.
