On December 11 and 12, at the Kalanchak checkpoint on the administrative border with the occupied Crimea, Ukrainian border guards found two citizens with forged passports and four more people with fake certificates of negative PCR test results at COVID-19.

This was reported by the Kherson Border Detachment of the State Border Guard Service on Facebook.

Border guards informed the National Police about all cases, as the actions of violators fall under Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps".

A total of 3,314 people crossed the administrative border with Crimea on December 11 and 12. Of these, 1,579 went to the mainland of Ukraine, and the other 1,735 - to the occupied peninsula.
