The invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine will drag the whole of Europe into crisis - Reznikov
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov stated that if Russian troops invade the territory of Ukraine, it will have serious consequences for the whole of Europe and may lead to a global crisis.
"UkraineAlert" published the corresponding statement of Reznikov.
"The only real uncertainty is whether Europe is fully aware of what a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine will mean for the rest of the continent ... The war in Ukraine will drag the whole of Europe into crisis. The sharp rise of three to five million Ukrainian refugees fleeing the Russian invasion will be just one of the many serious problems facing European society", - Reznikov said.

According to him, Europe depends on food imports, and the war will seriously undermine and possibly stop the import of many goods from Ukraine and Russia. This will create many food problems for the whole continent.
The Ukrainian Defence Minister also noted that an attack by Russia would mark the end of the international order, thus opening the door to a new era of global instability that would threaten a decade of unprecedented peace in most of Europe.
