The new ruling coalition in Germany demands that the Russian Federation end the war in Donbas and return the occupied Crimea to Ukraine. At the same time, she advocates close cooperation with Moscow.

The relevant text of the coalition agreement was published by Spiegel.

The text of the agreement states that the new German government is ready for a constructive dialogue with Russia, but also respects the interests of partners in Eastern Europe.

"We demand an immediate end to attempts to destabilize Ukraine, violence in eastern Ukraine and the illegal annexation of Crimea. The path to a peaceful settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine and the lifting of sanctions depends on full implementation of the Minsk agreements. We are in favor of resolving frozen conflicts in the region", - was informed in the message.

It is also noted that the new coalition has stated its desire to work closely with Russia on energy issues and global issues. She also criticized the restrictions on civil and democratic freedoms in Russia.

The agreement also declares the intention to launch visa-free travel between Germany and Russia for young people under 25.
