A Ukrainian will be tried in absentia for spreading Russian propaganda - the Prosecutor General’s Office

The Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol filed an indictment against a Ukrainian on charges of encroaching on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.

The Office of the Prosecutor General reported it.

The accused wrote propaganda, anti-Ukrainian articles for a monetary reward at the request of the head of one of the Internet resources, who received tasks from representatives of the Russian Federation.

The examination established that the publications of the accused contained statements on changing the borders of the territory, the state border of Ukraine in the form of appeals, slogans, and agitation to unite with Russia. Also, in the texts of the articles, the Crimean peninsula is considered a subject of the Russian Federation.

In addition, the psychological and linguistic examination confirmed that the accused had expressed theses about inciting hatred and mistrust between residents of different regions of Ukraine, speaking in the media.
