The occupiers filmed the series using Crimea as a shooting location for the slums
The residents of Yevpatoria learned that a new series about the wives of oligarchs would be released on Russian TV screens, the plot of which was filmed in occupied Yevpatoria. Yevpatoria will be shown as a provincial town with poor infrastructure, bad roads, and dirt.
The Crimean Reintegration Association reports about it.
“Thanks to the city administration, they helped our city become famous! A movie about slums has already been made. Keep it up! Then they will shoot a blockbuster about the apocalypse”, - residents write on social networks.
Also, residents of occupied Evpatoria were offended by the fact that Russian filmmakers used their city, although Russia has quite a few of their towns and villages.
It is about the TV series "Oligarch's Wife" starring Olena Podkamynska.
