At 10:00 a.m., in the direction of the closed area began to manoeuvre the Russian border patrol ship Emerald with board number 360, which passed at the intersection of the Ukrainian patrol boat Sloviansk.
Due to the high manoeuvrability of this Ukrainian boat type "Island", the ships parted at a distance of one mile.
The Saratov landing ship and the Emerald patrol ship, based in occupied Crimea, continued to demonstrate surveillance of the Ukrainian military, remaining near the training area.
According to the ARC, later the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the missile cruiser Moskva arrived in the area of Ukrainian exercises from Sevastopol, demonstrating the maximum level of aggravation of the situation.
