More than 300 servicemen of the occupation contingent of the Russian Armed Forces on the peninsula and dozens of units of equipment were involved in the exercises at the Opuk test site.

This was reported by the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is noted that the exercises included practicing covert advancement, deployment at firing positions from the march and combat firing at conventional enemy positions at different firing ranges.

"More than 300 servicemen and about 50 units of weapons and special equipment are involved in the exercise, including MLRS" Grad-M ", artillery" MSTA-B "and howitzers D-30", - was informed in the statement.
